Trevor Dalton Canham
Trevor’s interests lie in digital image processing, color management, and the communication of technical ideas through writing and filmmaking. He recently received a BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Motion Picture Science Program, and currently works as a research assistant at the Image Processing for Enhanced Cinematography lab at Universitat de Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. There he is continuing work on adaptive display color management by assisting in the development and implementation of novel tone mapping algorithms for multiple European Research Council funded projects. From his first internship with Company 3 NY, Trevor has been perpetually working in the post production realm, spending the next two years serving a technical advising position at a local facility in Rochester, Optic Sky Productions. In his time at RIT, Trevor held several additional positions at the institution as well as in the community including Digital Projection Consultant for the Rochester International Film Festival, Technical Director of RIT’s Film Students Association as well as Vice President of the local SMPTE Student Chapter.
