Born and raised in Madrid, I received the degrees in Mathematics (Licenciatura en Matématicas) and Computer Science (Ingeniería en Informática) from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2010, the Master in Computer Vision and the Doctorate from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2013 and January, 2016 respectively, both of them supervised by Professor Emanuele Schiavi.
During the Doctorate I spent one year working as a visting student in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology unfer the supervision of Professor Elfar Adalsteinsson.

From March, 2016 to November, 2017 I was working as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Graz in the group of Professor Kristian Bredies.

My research interests are mainly focused on applying and developing variational techniques for image processing problems. In the past, I have worked mostly in aplications related with Magnetic Resonance Imaging including denoising and image reconstruction.
